As Checks & Balances Project (C&BP) awaits a reply to its public records request seeking the recusal policy for Sussex County, Virginia, supervisors, it asks for county residents to send more tips such as the one that led to the initial public records request.
On June 18, C&BP also asked for the records of any supervisors who have declared a conflict of interest in the last 25 years.
No Sussex County supervisor has responded to C&BP’s requests for comment.
